Wood Group operate in 50 countries worldwide, with a £4.2Bn turnover and 32,000 staff, making them the 6th biggest company in Scotland - providing a range of engineering, production support, and maintenance management services to the oil & gas, and power generation industries.

The Challenge

Wood Group had three distinct sections to their business; Wood Group PSN, Wood Group Kenny and Wood Group Mustang. They needed a new symbol for their parent brand, unifying the three companies under one umbrella. In short, Wood Group were expanding rapidly and needed a new way to bind the team together.

Solution

Through a rigorous process of investigation alongside Wood Group CEO, Bob Keiller, it became clear to us we should integrate all of the company values into a multifaceted symbol which elegantly reflects the technical and comprehensive international Wood Group brand family. There is an ongoing programme to articulate this new brand across a wide range of international collateral and communications, both to internal and external audiences.
